Charity Lounge Night.
$5 cover charge (all
proceeds will be donated to charity). Come make new friends and hang out
with old ones at a night full of fun and games! Games include poker for
beginners, non-beginners, black jack and of board games.

“Intro to Teen
Congregation” at The Ozur Bass Home. Join Har Shalom teens as we
celebrate the start of Shabbat with teaching tunes, learning about prayers
and of course, Friday night dinner.

Kadima and USY Project
Linus and Social Action Craft Night. Come earn SSL hours while hanging out
with friends!

Yachting in Annapolis with Beth
El Bethesda! Join us as we sail on a 65 foot yacht to a private marina.
There will be lunch, games and swimming!
10am-6pm. This event is
FREE for USY members.

About
Us
USY ( United Synagogue Youth )
was founded in 1951, in Midwest by a group
of Jewish teens who were interested in starting a Jewish conservative youth
movement. USY is the official high-school aged youth organization of the
Conservative Movement and is sponsored by the United Synagogue . This in turn means
that USY is a Conservative Youth group and our Chapters exist in United
Synagogue affiliated congregations. However USY is an open environment and
welcomes teens of all affiliations. Although the organization began with
only a few chapters, it has grown to an international organization with
thousands of involved high school aged members!
There are three main levels of USY. There are
the chapter, regional and international levels. Each chapter recruits their
own new members and elects a chapter board that keeps the chapter's
activities running smoothly. Here, leaders are trained and responsibilities
are divided. All of the chapters in a few states together make up one of
the 17 regions. Each region has many programs designed to bring members
from different chapters within each region together. International USY is
the last part. All 17 regions unite annually, at International Convention.
International USY also offers amazing summer
programs. We run trips to Israel & Europe, Cross Country Bus Tours,
Camping Trips, and a Study Program in NYC at Barnard University
and the Jewish Theological Seminary. Contact us for more info on any of

Har Shalom USY is a member of the Seaboard Region of USY. The Seaboard
Region is made up of Maryland, DC, Virginia, and parts of North Carolina. We are based at Congregation Har Shalom in Potomac, Maryland.
